They say it's your birthday...

Birthdays come but once a year and sadly, the birthday boy must spend his special day far away from us.

Since we can't shower him with affection and make him feel like a king for the day, allow me to gush a little about the birthday boy *cough*MAN*cough*

This man is an amazing husband, who makes me smile even on days when I can’t imagine ever smiling again. He is my person. One look from him, one hug, can bring my guard down and allow me to let it out until it’s ok again. He supports me in all I do and truly loves me for me.

He is my partner in parenting. An absolutely amazing Papa Bear, full of pride and joy whenever he thinks of Gbear.

He is a puppy lover, wrestling with Bear and buying him puppy treats.

And while his first days of his new year will be spent finishing up his training far away from us, the best gift of all will be when we can all be together again.

Hopefully this year will be his favorite year yet!
