Halloween Sunday Social

I decided to link up with the Sunday Social this week over at Ashley Lately and A Complete Waste of Makeup

Sunday Social

1. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
I think one of my favorites would have to be a lion. I mean come on, cute, right?!
2. If you could go back to your childhood and dress up as something, what would it be?
My mom pretty much always let me pick what I wanted to be {she made my costumes} so I can’t think of anything. Besides, I keep reliving my childhood now dressing in silly costumes as an adult ;-)

3. What was your favorite Halloween costume as an adult?
I was a big fan of the year I went as a fly. I found a kids costume at goodwill {we’re talking zip up onesie} so I did a little altering and wore it as a vest and I carried a fly swatter around smacking people all night. I can't find any pics of that one, so another favorite is from my old job. I got to wear an 1880's inspired period costume of a witch. It always reminded me of Hocus Pocus!

4. What is your favorite Halloween candy?
Anything but Mounds/Almond Joy

5. What is your favorite Halloween memory?
I remember one Halloween when I was much younger it POURED all night and we thought Halloween was going to be a total wash, but around 9 pm the rain cleared. Normally my mom would not have let me trick or treat that late, but my brother {who is 8 yrs older} said he’d take me. Since all the houses had no kids that night, we ended up with so much candy. When we got back home we FILLED one of those giant black trash bags. It was awesome!!!

6. What is your favorite scary movie?
I really don’t like scary movies, AT ALL, so instead I will share a funny scary movie moment. In college, a bunch of my sorority sisters and I decided to watch a scary movie in the sorority living room, which happens to have big glass doors that lead out to a patio. Being that it was college, at one of the scariest moments, we had an interloper. A VERY drunk gentleman did not realize that we could see him through the glass and dropped trow and began peeing on the house. We went from being terrified {scary shadow man} to peeing ourselves with laughter {especially when he realized we could see him and he drunkenly stumbled away}
