Have A Little Faith In Me

So to kick start my adventures in blogging, I thought I'd try out a 30 days of me. There are a bunch of different versions of these floating around, but this one has a lot of visuals built in and what can I say, I have a short attention span so sometimes photos are needed! And my camera is always on hand (drives the hubby nuts!) so this is a chance to show some off.

So, Day 1: Favorite song
I'm a musical person, I've never had enough desire to keep up an instrument, but I love having music on, always. In the shower, in the car, cleaning, doing schoolwork. I have play lists for everything in life. That makes it super hard to pick just one song as a favorite. I'm going to narrow it down to 3. That's the best I can do to make a decision.

1) Have a Little Faith in Me, John Hiatt
This song, with its simple piano beginning and it's heartfelt lyrics, it can bring tears to my eyes. I always feel silly, but it really just connects with a place in my heart

2)A Kiss to Build a Dream On, Louis Armstrong

A song that is special to the Hubby and I. With all the times he's had to be away, whether it be for training, or deployed, we would listen to this song always before he would leave. One kiss had to last for months at a time. But even if he wasn't there beside me, he's always with me.

3) Somewhere Over the Rainbow/ What a Wonderful World, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole

I've always loved the Wizard of Oz, so Somewhere Over the Rainbow has always been a fave, but this version is so peaceful and beautiful. It can bring a smile to my face even on the worst days. (and it helps that the hubby loves it too)
