Throw{not too far}back Thursday

In the midst of my blog absence, we took a trip back to my hometown. It's about a twelve hour drive from where we live, so it's a long haul, but Gbear is a pretty awesome traveler and it is always worth it when I get a little time with my friends and family. Often times it feels like we never even left. {admittedly there are moments where I feel like I've missed out on so much, but such is life- at least these days we have the internet to help connect}

One of the big reasons we went back {other than to have a visit with my parents} was to let my husband experience his first true Irish Festival weekend.  I grew up dancing at these festivals and having some of my best moments and I couldn't wait to share that with my husband and Gbear. Gbear has Irish dancing in his blood and couldn't sit still when he heard that Irish music. Hubs wasn't quite as excited by the festival, but he was happy because Gbear and I were happy ;-)
