I was bestowed this awesome new blog award by two wonderful ladies, AngieDMac with her adorable pups and great sense of style over at Oh, How Delightful!, and Jessa at DoxieNoodle who has two adorable kids and really tells it like it is {her honesty and openness is proof of her strength}.

Lou @ Guinn and Bare It. This lady is so much fun and I think in real life we could be BFFs ;) She's one of my first blog friends and I love reading her posts and comments. Her hubby just left after R&R, so I'm sure she could use a little extra love, head over and say Hi!

Just a Girl I totally relate to her writing and I think we have a lot in common{and hey we may even end up being career twinsies} Not to mention her blog is pretty freakin adorable.

Steph @ Watching Airplanes Gotta love her facebook funnies! Not to mention she's an awesome lady, with adorable pups and still finds time to blog between studying for numbingly dull interesting things like Business law.

HMB @ table for two:me and you Love her pup! And she loves cupcakes, a girl after my own heart ;) I love reading her blog, it always has something fun and cute to read, or something to get the wheels turning in the brain.

I'm going to leave it at those, even though there are so many other fabulous bloggers that I look forward to reading. This way more people can spread the blog lovin ;)

The 10 Questions...

1. Why did you create this blog?

On a whim basically. I felt like I needed another outlet in life to express myself, share recipes, and keep track of my life and how lil Gbear is growing. Honestly, I'm pretty amazed I've stuck with it this long, but now I think I'm hooked.

2. What kinds of blogs do you follow?

At the moment mostly Mommy blogs, MilSpouse blogs and anything crafty. I love seeing all the different ideas people come up with {so creative!!}

I basically enjoy following people that have something interesting to say and express themselves well.

3. Favorite make-up brand?

I tend to stick to cheap-o makeup because I can never bring myself to fork out the money for the good stuff, but when I do, I love pretty much anything sold at Sephora, especially Stila. And Mac. Some of their stuff is a little too crazy, but some of it is great.

4. Favorite clothing brand?

I love American Eagle jeans. They're one of the only brands with inexpensive jeans that actually look good on me. I *heart* Free People clothes, but unless I find good deals at the Rack, I usually have to stay away.

5. Indispensable makeup product?

Burt's Bee's Lip Shimmer {I have terrible chapped lips}

6. Favorite color?
I can never choose. Turquoise is always a good bet.

7. Favorite perfume?
I love Burberry Brit Sheer, Romance, and I still love Victoria's Secret Pink {I know *so* high school}

8. Favorite film?

What Dreams May Come and Wizard of Oz

9. What country would you like to visit and why?

So many: Australia because it seems so beautiful, Italy because of all the art & history, Greece because it looks fantastic and France because the one time I went there was not your typical trip to France.

10. Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget blush on one side of your face?

hmm, I think mascara, because it wouldn't be as noteworthy

You Like Me, You Really Like Me

Haha, My brain is all over the place right now ~ if you didn't catch that by the title.  I figured I'd get around to posting a lovely award I was given by Cheilsea at The Brownings and Lauren at Combat Boots and Diapers

Basically, to pass along the award, tell 7 things about yourself. I'm super A.D.D. tonight, so this is perfect!

1. It's snowing! I love the hush the snow creates as it blankets the world. I'm hoping HB will at least get a late call tomorrow (a day off would be even better)
2. Lil GBear has been waking up SCREAMING 3 times a night. Hopefully I can figure out what's doing this to my sweet boy so I can make it better (and get some much needed uninterrupted sleep) Maybe I was just too spoiled before; he started sleeping through the night by 2 months.
3. I'm super excited for the new season of Teen Mom tonight. Gotta keep it classy
4. I had to get a new Costco card today. The lady was so enamored with lil Gbear that she made him his own. He LOVED it. A year old and already a consumer.
5. I finally got a package that according to tracking had been "delivered" for over a week. Oh well. I was pretty sure I'd never see it. Better late than never.
6. I ordered boots from Endless.com Free shipping both ways, so if I don't like them no harm done. If I do, I'll be sure to post pics ;)
7. I'm eating cookies while watching the Biggest Loser. Lots of cookies. 

Now, I'm kind of behind on posting, so a lot of you seem to have already passed this along, so I'll just pick a few blogs I enjoy, who I don't *think* have gotten it yet.

Award-y Ward!

The title is a throwback to Russel Brand's book, My Booky Wook.

I don't have much time, Little GBear is napping and I have a to-do list you wouldn't believe, but I wanted to say thanks to Mrs Airforce over at In Love with an Airman and Lacey over at Guinn and Bare It for an awesome award!

To accept this award I have to tell 7 facts about myself and give this to 15 people that I think are super stylish :)

7 Facts

1. I was in a sorority in college and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. I made some awesome friends and learned some life lessons along the way.

2. My parents have been married for over 40 years. I love looking back at their wedding photos. My dad was in the airforce stationed overseas and that's how he met my mom. Sometimes he jokes he met her at a strip club haha.(which is even funnier if you know how quiet and reserved my dad can be)

3. I was a cheerleader for one year in high school. I wanted to be on dance team, but our school didn't have one. I thought it would be the next best thing. Not so much, although it was fun for awhile.

4. I have always been terrified of tornadoes. I grew up in Kansas and used to make my parents go to the basement at the slightest hint of a storm (don't worry we had a tv and all kinds of fun stuff down there) I would bring every stuffed animal I owned to my corner of the basement and my brother would walk outside and watch the lightning.

5. I've only broken one bone, my foot, but I had a big dancing competition coming up so I medicated and didn't stop dancing. Luckily it healed ok, but it still hurts from time to time. (I was young and stupid)

6. As a baby I would throw up (full on projectile) after every meal. My dad nicknamed the throwing up version of me Edna Jean. Why? Because he thought it was an ugly name and clearly his beautiful daughter couldn't be capable of something so ugly, so it must be Edna Jean (the throwup queen).

7. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 18. And I got my first car at 21.

1. I cannot stop eating the Halloween candy, are Reese's a viable breakfast food?

3. I have celebrated more birthdays in England than I have in the United States.
4. I am obssessed with Pandas... and was so excited to finally find some boy baby clothes with pandas on them ;)
5. I used to have to curl my hair for dance competitions, so I got to sport sponge rollers in my hair to school on a regular basis (can you say cool kid?)
6. I had braces 3 times. The second time, my orthodontist "forgot" why I had them. So I had them for 3 years, for NO REASON
7.I'm halfway finished with a program to become a paralegal.
